LOOK: NETFLIX is bringing five Filipino films on the popular movie platform this September 2020.
The much-awaited streaming of the movies from the Philippines which cover a wide variety of genres such as love stories and heart-felt dramas were produced by TBA Studios, The IdeaFirst Company, and CleverMinds Inc.
The five Pinoy films are a great addition to the other Filipino movies that all went to the Top 10 trending list in the Philippines in August.

Sleepless
Release Date: September 3, 2020
Cast: Glaiza de Castro and Dominic Roco
Sleepless is currently the 4th trending movie in the Philippines as of this writing.
Synopsis: The movie features two lonely people who can’t sleep and who spend an entire night fighting the loneliness that keeps them awake. They later form a bond as they talk about love, zombies, and everything in between.
Gasping for Air
Release date: September 3, 2020
Cast: Carlos Dala, Therese Malvar, Barbara Miguel, JC Santos, and Sue Prado
Synopsis: The film follows the story of teenage Luis as he tracks down his missing sister who disappeared after a talent scout promised her a career as a singer.
Waiting for Sunset (Kung paano hinihintay ang dapithapon)

Cast: Perla Bautista, Dante Rivero, Menggie Cobarrubias, Romnick Sarmenta, and Che Ramos
Waiting for Sunset was named Best Film and won several awards at the 14th Cinemalaya Film Festival in 2018.
Synopsis: An old unmarried couple broke the monotony of their daily lives when the woman’s estranged husband reached out to them, seeking reconciliation and forgiveness.

Write About Love won the ABC TV Award at the Osaka Asian Film Festival 2020.
Synopsis: The film revolves around the collaboration of a young female writer and a veteran male indie film writer to complete an unfinished script for a love story.
Movie streaming platform YouTube has also given 1-month free access to Filipino blockbusters this September.
